Join with media makers at the after-party for this year’s Media Democracy Day co-presented by the School of Communication at SFU, OpenMedia.ca, and the Vancouver Public Library. The main event takes place on Saturday, Nov. 6, 12pm-5pm at the VPL Central Library, 350 West Georgia. MDD Vancouver 2010 features keynote speakers, interactive panels, and hands-on workshops focused on critical analysis of media policy, citizen and alternative media production, and the transformation of the media system to make it more diverse and representative of audiences and communities.
