FEARLESS TV #11:
THE FIRST BEST OF FEARLESS TV SPECIAL
Wednesday October 31, 8pm - 9pm
Shaw Cable 4
A look at the people, places and issues of the Downtown Eastside, Canada’s poorest per capita income postal code as brought to you by community television volunteers who work and live there. The concrete result of the perseverance and hard work of volunteers of the DTES Community Arts Network Film and Video cluster (CAN-FV), Fearless TV exists because citizens exercise their entitlement to training and access provided by community television, one of the three elements of the Canadian broadcasting system. The other two elements are the public and commercial broadcasters. Thanks to Community Arts Council of Vancouver, British Columbia Arts Council, Gallery Gachet, ACCESS Association of Chinese Canadians for Equality and Solidarity Society, Chinese Canadian National Council (CCNC) Pan-Asian Network, Carnegie Community Centre, Downtown Eastside Residents’ Association (DERA), National Anti-Racism Council of Canada (NARCC), Status Through Action Towards Unity and Solidarity (STATUS) Coalition. An especially big thank you to those who participate in front and
behind the cameras.
